Inspired by the mermaids who would float up the Bosporus and flirt with sailors drinking their woes away at the local meyhanes. This intoxicating cat's eye copper rutile quartz sits atop a customized wrap-around fish-tail band. Accenting the tail of the setting is a 14k gold and diamond lale motif. This was one of the first series of cocktail rings I created during my apprentice-ship in Istanbul. These rings featured exquisite specimens of rutilated quartz and this is the last of the piece in the series. It has a special place in my heart.
